Tino Kasi is the founder of Kasi Law, a boutique law firm in London, ON, specializing in personal injury and insurance defence. She routinely represents businesses, insurance companies, and individuals.

Tino's journey began in Zimbabwe, Africa, where she was born and raised. She pursued her studies in law and business in England before immigrating to Canada permanently in 2004. She graduated from Western University's Faculty of Law in 2007 and was called to the Ontario Bar in 2008.

She takes immense pride in the fact that over a dozen of the region's mutual insurance companies trust her for legal counsel and effective representation in insurance disputes.

Tino's clients appreciate the unique advantage of having a passionate lawyer who not only understands the "mutual way" but also believes in facing challenges and celebrating successes together as partners. With over 14 years of experience , Tino has accumulated a wealth of expertise in insurance litigation.

Her practice encompasses a wide range of insurance disputes, both complex and routine, across various lines of business. Tino recognizes the distinct nature of claims often encountered by her clients and boasts extensive experience in areas such as farm accidents, marine accidents, motor vehicle accidents, occupier's liability, crop and livestock claims, fraudulent claims, coverage opinions, fire and property losses, product liability, environmental liability, accident benefits, and inter-insurer disputes. While Tino aims for prompt and fair resolutions to litigation disputes, she is not hesitant to pursue matters through to trial.

Beyond her legal career, Tino takes great pride in contributing to the community and country that have embraced her and her family. She is dedicated to mentoring the next generation and actively advocates for racialized and marginalized individuals. Currently, she serves on the Middlesex-London Board of Health.

On a personal note, Tino enjoys traveling and cherishes moments spent with her husband, Dan, and their two daughters, Sarah and Savannah.

Martin E. Tiidus is a graduate of Osgoode Hall law school of York University in Toronto and was called to the bar in 1985. He has over 30 years experience and is a seasoned litigator in the area of civil litigation, specializing in insurance; personal injury; liability; coverage issues; disputes between insurers; priority disputes. Martin has represented thousands of clients, both individuals, corporations, municipalities, and insurers in all levels of courts in Ontario, as well as numerous administrative tribunals. He has also appeared as counsel for insurers in Alberta and Nova Scotia. A specialist in dispute resolution, he has also acted as a mediator in personal injury disputes in Ontario.

Martin brings a pragmatic, results oriented approach when representing clients.

Sylvia Szabo was born and raised in Tillsonburg, ON and grew up on a tobacco farm. Farm life and European parents were integral to inspiring her great work ethic. Sylvia is a graduate of St. Clair College and Westervelt College and brings more than 30 years of legal experience to Kasi Law. After spending many years working with two large law firms in the city, she has embraced the truly family-like culture at Kasi Law. She is an integral part of a dynamic team of compassionate and hard-working individuals. Those who have worked with Sylvia recognize her genuine caring personality, empathy for our clients and drive to get things done.

Sylvia has also taken on the role as Human Resources Director for the firm, and is fluent in Hungarian.

During her spare time, she enjoys traveling, advocating for animals of all kinds, and spending time with loved ones and her dog Otis.
